Hi,

I am taking a Deaf Cultures class at Columbia College in Chicago. Today I had an interview with a deaf couple at a local church today. They were going to help me with an assignment. Unfortunely, they sent a message that they would not be at church today. I am enjoying this class and it is opening my eyes. At the moment there are no local deaf functions that I have been able to attend I think everyone is in hibernation here in Chicago. Is there anyone that would answer a few questions for me? Thank you for you help.

There is always something going on in Chicago, they have a HUGE Deaf Community there.
 
I live in Naperville(the boonies) and was surprised that I could not find activites out here. Now I know where to call. Thanks.
