Yea, scammers always try to be very creative to fool you. Simple put, if it sounds too good to be true, then probably it is! (meaning if this looks so real, the chance that it is fake is very high.)
 
They are trying to make themselves look real by being involved with the actual bust that happened recently.

Again, they're still asking for money. :roll:
 
You publicly post your e-mail address and then ask how they got it? I'm just as bewildered as you are on this one. :confused:
 
hey your email addy is still there in public. remove it ASAP before the spammers wud collect yours!
 
Okay as if you have email address if you have blocked from outside, just remove the addy from scram, then they wont go through your email... It will work!! really good, that is how I do myself since last year that I learned my lesson! from my gf's ex who really annoyed by email... anyway! it will big time helpful as if you removed the scams it will stop annoying you. :) that is all I suggest you.
 
I had a Verizon email account last year. I received a Verizon's email for a prize to win a car. I signed it up. A few weeks later, I received some junk emails including the one you received the scam. I finally figured out that it was from Verizon's game advertisement. I learned that Verizon Company is not responsible because it pays a 3rd party email service for the business. I blocked the list of scams that I received in my mailbox.
 
How did they get your email? It's your fault, You put a check on allowing other members to send you an email, If you don't want members to send you an email then do the following steps:

*Go to User Control Panel on top of AllDeaf, click that.

* Scroll down to Option, click that.

* You'll see it says Receive Email Put a check on receive email notice from Administrators only,

Don't put a check on allowing other members to send you an email.

Then your email will be set to private. :thumb:
 
Whether you share your email or not, they will still find you.

All they have to do is use a randomizer.

They use nicknames, names, numbers, etc... it's very easy.
