Angel, it sound interesting... You make me feel want to see it... I will look for DVD at large DVD stores this weekends.

I saw it and it's a very sad movie, I cried so many times during that movie. I cannot believe that police department, I'm glad Tracy won that case she deserved it.

Well, I believe that the Restrainin' Order is already null nowdays. It's just no good for many reasons.

I know - that is what is puzzling me. How can courts determine if one gets a RO or not? Do they need massive evidence?

The cops who showed up to arrest this girl coudlnt believe that the girl did not understand the papers. We tried to explain that ASL is the girl's native language, not English. But they arrested her anyway. Her kids were there. How sad

Wow, it is so unbelievable. It sounds like, he is a vengeance. :dunno:

I seen restraining orders get abused to the max.

Take this experience. A deaf advocate in the Knotts Berry Farm area tried to get a restraining order to prevent me from helping a female client he was getting mushy with and only after the lady asked me for my help with raising funds for her house payment as her disability checks was coming slower as she expected.

Same guy even tried to get a RO on me to prevent me from going to Starbucks at the Block at Orange for a deaf social event.

He found out the hard way that no judge would get him a RO to prevent me from helping a client or blocking me from going to a deaf social event.

And even my ex wife responded witha RO as her way of dealing with getting dumped like being asked to sign a separation agreement from me. And the dammed feminists from LACAAW sort of helped her out in revenge because they were not happy I won some of the grant money for my deaf center that had been going to LACAAW for a long time.

I seen up front how restraining orders get abused.

Richard Roehm

Richard,
From what you are saying, the orders were never issued so an RO wasn't abused or used against you...the judge never issued them so there was no order to be abused or them to hold over your head.

:( I m sorry for that lady, maybe innocent, but in my thought its unfair! she is deaf but cant go deaf social/event, what she supposes to do, stay home, huh?

Yes me too either feel sorry for this lady ... I think it all so crapping .. I do not to agree ... thought it only for not to bother the person's house or near this person .. but in public !! Geez!! how so PATHETIC am glad that I don't live in U.S.A.... no offense !!

sometimes RO is good for Domestic violence/abuse victims, but that lady doesnt look abusing, more likely he got annoyed with her so gets rid of her, what a selfish
