Restaurant banned deafness with dog to enter.

Well, it happen in England, the passenger who happen to be Muslim and complain about there is a dog, it being leash to the blind person in public transportation bus.

That's retard.
In the States we've had lots of complaints from people with service dogs being rejected by Muslim cab drivers.

In my community, a man with a service dog was rejected for a motel room by a Muslim manager.

Or do the opposite.

Hold an "eat-in."

Contact lots of people who use service dogs.

Call the restaurant for reservations for a large group (don't mention the dogs).

Put an FYI bug in a reporter's ear.

The group, with dogs, show up for the dinner.

Big scene, lots of press. :D

I'm sure that'll cause a storm.

Don't forget the cab drivers have the right of way at any given time on the road.

The Muslim couple have an Italian restaurant? They serve no pork products there? :hmm:

What about wine? Wine is popular in Italian restaurants but forbidden to Muslims.

It seems that their religiosity might be selective.

Many restaurant owners don't eat what they serve on the menu. A few friends of the family run Chinese-Canadian restaurants and they don't eat what on the menu, other than test the quality of plain rice they bring in to adjust cooking time for new harvests.

And I thought the councils of Islam in the western world provided exceptions to service animals?

I didn't mean that they were eating the food and drinking the wine but wouldn't it be wrong (at least hypocritical) for them to touch, prepare, and serve forbidden food and drink to others?

If it's OK for them to overlook their believes in order to serve "forbidden" items, then it should be equally OK for them to overlook the "uncleaness" of dogs in order to follow the ADA.

They can't have it both ways.

So, it would be hypocritical for a Jew to manage local non-kosher businesses? There's a few out there. I am looking at you, McDonald's.

Wouldn't really matter because the imans, at least in Canada, issued service animals be allowed in place of businesses. But we still have problem with taxi-drivers, so not everyone listen to the imans.

I said it would be hypocritical if they enforced one belief (against dogs) and not enforce their other beliefs. That's picking and choosing whatever is convenient; that's not religious conviction.

True.
(They are imams, not imans.)

Not much chance of that happening in a Muslim managed restaurant. :giggle:

Ha, ha, nice catch! I didn't notice that was a Muslim restaurant. I don't think the pig would be allowed in anymore than the dog is allowed inside.

One of my brother in law is from Tiridate and I can't visit my sister as my dog is not allowed in his the house! My brother in law been living in USA for over 40 years and he still feel a dog does not belong in a house. I have been invited to my sister house to sleep over and was told my dog would have stayed outside tried up to a tree the whole time!

One question, why would a hearing impaired person need a hearing dog if they are not low vision nor blind? Sorry if I offend anyone, but I don't understand why one would need a dog in a restaurant?

My guess is that the dog may be able to let the owner know when his name is being called.
