Tim Tebow, who was cut from the New York Jets in April, will sign with the division rival New England Patriots, ESPN's Ed Werder reported Monday afternoon.
Werder, citing league sources, reported Tebow is expected to participate in minicamp Tuesday as a quarterback.
Tebow was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010, leading them to the playoffs and a first-round victory in his second season.
He was traded to the Jets in 2012, but failed to see hardly any playing time last season. He was cut in late April.
Tebow will now be reunited with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who drafted him in the first round in Denver while head coach.
