Not ironic or hypocritical. Deaf and deafblind have different accessibility needs. Since the majority of the forum are sighted, it is only natural that all verbal clips would need a transcript provided.

Not everyone is aware of the deafblinds' needs, however on AllDeaf, people should be aware of the deaf's needs.

I post transcripts with mine regardless of deaf or deafblind because-- I am aware of my audience. However everyone on the forum is aware that deaf people posts. Not very many people are aware of the deafblinds. And if I don't provide text with videos, even if it is subtitled or closed captioned, and pictures-- I expect the blind people to call me out on it.

So when sablescort posted, it was subtitled-- which is acceptable since the audio wasn't needed to drive the point across. However I doubt that she or he is aware of the deafblind audience and shouldn't be re-primed for it.

However YOU, yourself, are perfectly aware that deaf people post on THIS forum, and thusly continue to link to vocal clips. So it shouldn't be a surprise when people call you out on it.

As for the clip for the "bs impaired" itself, there is no transcript for it and the captions are clearly a parody of what Joe was saying. So I think I will have to run this several times before I can write down all the captions.

I haven't always remembered to caption my photos and clips for the deafblind. Jiro has done a excellent job of captioned all of his photos for the DB.

But I figured most people are prejudiced in one way or another against blind people. They just don't know it sometimes. It's a double whammy against those who are blind and deaf. I see it in here and elsewhere from time to time. Sad. Even I have to remind myself of that to remember that so they can have the same communication access.

No, you made other nasty assumption about I support hacking on politician's website, it is not same define as I said awesome so I don't care about hackers on hacking of politician's website.
