Remembering Korean War 60 Years Later

As was my deceased husband.
I'm thankful for and honor his service to our country.
 
I was wondering how you guys escaped North Korea without the gritty details that Korean families usually retells to their children.

There was no North Korea at that time. And I think my dad didn't get the chance to hear the stories since he died too early. or maybe grandpa didn't want to share it. I'll have to ask my dad.

I means the geographical North Korea.

They still refer Hanoi as North Vietnam, despite it no longer exists today.
 
No matter what, I always hug a vet when I find out. I may not have been born then, but I can continue the tradition of honoring past and present soldiers and future soldiers will get hugs from me too.

There is not enough thanks that can say enough.
