Read same book together or different book?

Many times in a relationship, couples may have the idea of reading the same book and then discussing it together. Maybe I'll read one book while you read something else. When done, we'll discuss our respective books. How many of you currently or used to do this in your relationship? What do you think of this?
 
it would be nice but i give up will to live if i had to read or disuss lives of different cricketers and rugby books...last book i read was 'street cat called bob'his reaction be same...great thing to do and help relationship
 
My husband likes, health, science, vegetarianism, mechanics and woodworking.

I like mystery, horror, animals.

We would be miserable if we had to read the same things.

We do tell the other about something that might be of interest to them from what we read.
 
my husbands books better than sleeping pills i using one of them to jack me bed up...you would love 'street cat called bob' best feel good book i everread
 
I would never had read the same books as my ex husband , he read books about diseases then think he had it. :roll:
