Reaction to President Obama's snub of France

little action? are you sure about that? you might want to double-check on that.
9/11 terrorists were trained by Al Qaeda based in Afghan. What did we do? We sent troops there to destroy it.

Other countries like Germany, Italy and France don't send troops over there. They are looking to destroy terrorist cells in their country. That's it. For example, one of the terrorists who attacked Charles Hebdo newspaper company was trained by Al Qaeda in Yemen. If that group is still there, will France take action like we did in Afghan? :hmm: Does Yemen have good military to fight against the group?

yes they did. do you know what coalition forces mean? everybody went together. these countries were our main contributors.

German casualties in Afghanistan was the highest since WW2 for deployment abroad. French sent over thousands of troops and spent hundreds of millions of Euros on this war when they didn't have to. a small Italian force stayed after NATO pulled out in 2014. these countries have done a lot for us in Afghanistan and we're grateful for their help - from beginning to end.

what you said was very disrespectful. you need to put away your ethnocentric ego.

now about Yemen. I guess we'll wait and see how it plays out but I think we're going to war against Yemen... finally!

We don't need to send the next generation of soldiers in to Yemen to just get them returned in body bags.

Nuke Yemen. They have mountainous cavern networks worse than Afghanistan.

We have been assisting Yemen government to destroy the group and we killed the leader but it looks like it spreads all over some places. Well, France, are you coming, too?

I have no faith in Yemen government. I don't trust them and I believe Yemen is involved in state-sponsored terrorism.

I was having a conversation with a former MI (Army) about Yemen a couple of days ago. He mentioned we have micro drones now.

we've had microdrones a long while ago in DARPA.

. . . Edit(also from CNN): "It's worth noting, however, that none of the potential 2016 GOP candidates criticizing Obama were in Paris either."
We're talking about official representatives of our government. None of the potential (not even actual yet) candidates would be official representatives unless the President authorized and sent them, which he did not.

I'm curious--which potential Democrat candidates went to Paris? (I'm not saying they should have gone; I'm just wondering which ones went since the topic was brought up.)

only 10% of muslims have these radical ideas and 10% of over 0ne billion makes equal to population of America.
France going through some rough stuff believe me parts of paris you stay away from in middle of day Algerian areas...
the French have stopped girls wearing hijab they told the girls they got wear same as everyone else and covering face can be seen as intimidating,i see no problem with French saying this but they have come under terrible attack bc of it

As you state, I don't know exactly who is going to be running as well. I believe the article was just covering all the bases on the topic. I'm sure there are democrats who complained and didn't go to the march as well.

Not by my calculator, unless by, "over", you mean 4 billion people. Even with that estimate it would be over four times the population of Yemen.

Still, I get the point.

Some people expect president to show their model role to other people. I'm except ISIS go back to school. Oh wait, they ban the education.
