Yeah, what s/he said (sorry sequoias, not sure which is you in your avatar :) ) but camera cables are pretty standardized so maybe you can borrow a friend's?

Not all camera usb cables connectors on the end to the camera are the same. Some aren't standard and hard to find. If she has SD memory card then she wont have problem finding a reader for that.

Contact corporate public relations, by mail. The address should be on their web site. Also write a letter to the editor of the closest newspaper, if you feel like going public with it all.

Very true! I have yet to use cables that I couldn't connect to something else. Technology is something, hm? :)

Just got off the phone with the auto finance company again. Now, they say, the check is not in the mail and a credit has not been issued as of yet. Only the paperwork was sent to the accounting department and it would be another month. I asked to speak to the supervisor. Managed to get with an Exec VP. Explained my situation and she was livid (at least according to the relay operator) and took all of the notes from my many phone calls from today back to June 20th (18 calls) and has filed a customer complaint and sent it to the accounting department. She also said that the manager I spoke to on Tuesday will be reprimanded since she saw where he told me that a check was already mailed. She is ordering that a refund check be issued tomorrow. Got a call from my bank last night. Seems, if I do not get a deposit to cover my overdraft in by 7/22 they will close the account and start collection proceedings. I mentioned this to the Exec VP and she added that to their notes. Luckily, for me, my disability check comes in this month on 7/20. Also, hubby gets a paycheck tomorrow. This means, that there will be no money for groceries this weekend, but MIL is now aware of the situation and has said she can help a little. Also, hubby's boss is aware and he's working to get a gift card to the grocery store for us.
 
Can't believe that with all the DVD's we have here in the house, there's not a one I am interested in seeing. Either I have seen them too many times, or they are not my thing, or they are not caption or have subtitles.
 
I think so probably on cable on not work cable spread and slow internet technology problem serious jeez

91 with a heat index of 104 right now. Supposed to get hotter later. A/C not cooling enough and we have 4 fans in the house. Not going outside for anything!
 
I hate it when people think just because people are hoh or deaf they are stupid it makes me want to smack them

95 with heat index in 110's here. A/C struggling quite a bit as well.

Not sure what happened - it's not 88 with a heat index of 105. MIL is not going to have the A/C fixed. She concerned about the Social Security checks for August and also, wants to use her money for the permits needed to get the construction started. May be mid August when we get started now.
