Questions for Parents about toy guns ....

As for me no way to buying!!! But lucky me because I have two girls! They like buying pink things, angels, Barbies, make up, ponies etc.. :giggle:
I had Barbies AND guns. :P

Many parents prefer Bratz dolls over Barbies dolls because of their stylish clothes and normal boby shape which barbie doesn´t. Many parents afraid that their girls might copycat barbie´s body shape and could lead girls eating disorder as the same as many parents don´t like toy guns and think toy guns itself lead their boys into volience, etc.

Oh well...
Ugh! I think those Bratz dolls are bizarre looking, and they certainly don't have "normal" shapes.

My brother and I grew up in the 70s and early 80s. We played cops and robbers with the guns, handcuffs, and all the works. My mom always made sure we didnt point the guns at each other's heads and she taught us that real guns are not something we should be playing with. Eventually, we lost interest in them.

It is all about what kind of envioronment the kids live in, the values of the immediate family, and awareness.

On the other hand.....
I have a hearing brother who is the son of my dad and step-mom who is 18 years old now.Despite growing up in a postive home life with a stay at home mom who didnt allow her 3 sons to watch violent movies or play violent games, he ran into trouble with real guns when he was in his teens and ended up in jail. He was diagnosed with ODD so sometimes kids are born with disorders and cause them to act violently.

Important the parents provide a loving and stable home and more likely the kids wont be using guns to harm others.

My daughter never showed an interest in toy guns.

I will have to wait and see about my son. As of now, he is interested in cars.
