Question: Is a sense of humor really importance?

Me personally I would prefer them to have a sence of humor where we can build off each other and just have alot of laughs. But it isn't a major requirement. My wife has a great sence of humor it makes alot of situations better like when I am sad or upset she can make me laugh and that makes everything better. I make friends with basically anyone though. People who don't have a sense of humor may have other redeaming quailities.
