Question for all

Maybe I should have asked this before I joined in and started posting but I have a question, is it ok that I am here?

I am not here to offend anyone but the only way to make a friend is to be one first.

IMO, being a hearie as well, as long as you have respect for all you should do just fine. Be open to learn is my advice. & welcome to the minority!:giggle:

Isn't there a animated cartoon that can represent this behavior?

yes but it's in my comp at home

Hi Ember! Welcome! Respect is the little key that opens a big wide open door. If you have that you will certain go places, and as a bonus, you will get respect yourself.

Ember, there are several nursing students here, including me, I am just starting my last semester..
The people here are no different than anywhere else - except maybe a little "tougher" - and I mean that in a good way. The deaf seem for the most part to have strong personalities, they say it like it is, and they have what seems to be an uncanny ability for detecting bullshit (excuse my english) in all it's forms. At least that is my short term observation.

Good luck with nursing school!

I love that. You're the second person to earn a quote spot in my signature.

Hey Jennifer I don't mind people being forward I like that, I said in another thread I would rather be in the company of people who are real and not have to deal with the Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde types. And thanks for the salutations about school I can't wait!
