Question for Alex

Well,

I'm sorry if that how some of you feel or if that what you've been seeing so far...I'm going to say something here and is going to be very honest about it too, I'm not trying to become a moderator here and I see a thread that is going out of hand and when a moderator had already posted in that thread and letting all of the Aders know that we need to stop from whatever we may be doing in that thread, but some of you haven't even stopped and kept on going at it over and over, and more and more members are jumping on a bandwagon by insulting and bashing out a member in that thread...It's like some of you have no respect for the rules that are set up here in AD or for what the moderator had told you to do....I'm not saying I am perfect or putting anyone down here...I'm just speaking of what I've been seeing for so far for weeks even months and it hasn't even end either.....

I thought we as members are suppose to be a bit more helpful , supportive, kind , and be able to come across to a member in a more nicer way otherwise, it going to look like we're actually in kindergarden where kids fight and pick on eachothers over little things or whatever their views or opinions may be ...

Honestly I am tired of seeing all the insulting, bashing, namecalling or thread being closed just cause we can't simply get along with one another and try to ignore the ones that may bother us, and move on to another thread.....but it doesn't even look like this is what happening here lately.... sad isn't it?....

I suppose I won't say anything anymore if that making me look like I am a moderator here and just click the umm what Tousi called it a tattletail button LOL....Cause I personally don't think it necessary to have members joining a bandwagon and keep insulting and bashing out a member just cause you don't like that member, it would be wise to keep it out of the open forum and out of Alldeaf ...That's another reason why we have PM to use or we can always go up to one of the moderator or Alex if we have a problem with a member here...

Also, I don't think it's necessary to keep telling a member to get out of this thread and leave AD, when it not your forum....We may all disagree or agree from time to time, but that doesn't give you any right to say that to a member here when everyone is welcome here in Alldeaf.....

I hope to see everyone get along with one another otherwise we wouldn't be discuss this right?...That's all I wanted to say so Have a Happy Easter Everyone! ...

^Angel^ is her own person and has her own opinion, I on another hand have my own opinion too. What about some members in "Catch me while you can" thread I have seen so many people jump in the bandwagon and attack one person. You talking about ^Angel^ and I? You know I tried so hard to be nice to you, It seems you never pleased. Well, I apology but I refused to take the blame for just trying to make AllDeaf a clean, friendly forum. I just want everyone to get along. Is that a crime? It just turns me off when members attacking others and telling them they are not welcome here or there or etc.

Yeah, I can read and understand what you guys are tryin' to say here...but, there's ONE thing that really bothers me the most and I am sure it is not only me, but to some ADers as well. There's a "conflict of interest" involved in AD. I don't like to see some certain members takin' over and act like MODS when they are not moderators for heaven's sake ! These certain members need to stop actin' like one. It doesn't matter, if these certain members say that they are just tryin' to help. That's conflict of interest !
I am sure it is the same thing with the lawyers when one is involved with "conflict of interest" and that person can't help with other client. It's where the "line is drew". ( Draw the line ) It's the moderators' job, not the ADers'.

I wouldn't want the moderators' job to be handled by the members its the moderator's postion to make sure the job is done weather the ad members like it or not... its not and i repeat NOT the Member's job to do the moderator's job for them.. especially when there is indeed a conflict of intrest going on here....... ( and if the moderator had made a comment once before theres one way to do this if its continued... lock the thread til everyone chills out..)

and i understand this is getting off topic... but here's the thing we also are entiled to feedbacks... and anyway.....

the person that u have to talk to is alex not the moderators or anyone else.... if u want the moderator's job.

well im agreeing with cheri and angel... cuz sometime mod cant do everything and sometime people listen to other ADers instead of Mods... they were just trying to be helpful.

bashing, flaming, etc only cause negative things such as anger, hurt, and it s not what grabs other people attention to this forum.

maybe mods and alex could find something where it would be easier on mods and alex so when they edit OR remove... it would send pm to that person automaticially? like snail letters from companies... they dont personalize their letters everyone get exact same letter... so the automatic pms just to inform them that their post is removed or being edited ... simple as that and if that person felt it was a mistake they could pm mod for more details? hm ill have to look into software stuff to see if such a thing exsist.

I also believe that VBulletin (this forum software) has the feature of moving just posts to another forum. Why not require mods to move posts into something in the moderators forum out of public view. It can then be determined by all the mods if it should be permanently deleted.

Since see cannot see what is in the mods forum, they may actually already do this. One forum I'm a moderator at, all questionable posts get moved into a private mods area and they can explain their actions (to other mods). It is then determined what happens next. They already do this in this AD forum, too. It's called the Moderator's Corner, I believe.

Yeah, they do move to the Moderator's section, I've seen it before (before Alex blocked the topics from being seen in the public. Only way to know if the threads are deleted, if you watch your post numbers going down.

Well, it didn't stop you from leaving AllDeaf the first time you had a fit about this so-called "conflict of interest". You can always leave. Remember this, I am making an observation and I am NOT attacking you. I have already investigated the possible "conflict of interest", and I am satisfied to report there is none. I cannot believe you are still obsessed after all this time!! It's creepy how you always try to follow and copy certain members around on and off the internet. Last time I checked, stalking is still a crime.
