Question about why start lie in the post?

They do it for several reasons:

They have something to hide for a good or bad reason. So, leave it at that.

They think it makes them look better. If you think they're lying, then don't listen to them. It's like the story of the boy who cried wolf. If they lie repeatedly, then tell the truth... and you don't believe the truth... that's pretty much their own fault.

What lies should we care or not care about? It depends on what the lie is about.

If someone lies about their eye color or hair color, so what? They're probably ashamed of what they have or don't want people to know what they look like.

If someone lies about having friends, so what? They're probably just trying to make more friends and we should be friends with everyone.

However...

If someone lies about someone else in a harmful way, then ignore them because getting yourself involved will only make matters worse for you and others.

I agree with you, Vampy... if I am friends with the person I don't like - but it takes time to be friends with them, it would not matter who you are. If you don't like the person completely, who lies, rude or whatever you desire to think the person is.. ingore is the best option and move on.... fighting, cussing and so on would not work.
