ASL is it's own language, English is a language. I didn't see where someone wrote that ASL is not a language. If it was written, obviously that person was wrong.

that's Google.

Sorry, us people edumacated at state schools don't know the Ivy League.

:laugh2: You are kidding, right?

Like I said, you need to expand your knowledge beyond doing a Google search. And please, please, read what you copy and paste.:laugh2:

Um, yes Jillio. I actually do read what I copy and paste. It says essentially the same thing I said.

Why would anyone have brochures from 1997? Are you a hoarder?
Nope. They are just a good part of my life. I kept the brochures because I was in a moment of my life where I am advancing into adulthood and pursuing a career through universities. I also write in my journal everyday. Just something what happy and successful people do.

UMAD?

Let's define "essentially," shall we? :hmm:

And you are claiming to have superior knowledge of English? Check that grammar, dude.

Why haven't you scanned and posted that brochure yet?

And your reason for keeping the brochures is exactly what a hoarder would say. They don't understand that memories aren't attached to the junk they save, either. :laugh2:

Less Talk, More Action.

uwastingmytime?

Yeah, I'm sorry. Wiki is confused too. :(

Most of the time, it is. That is why it can't be used as a citation. Don't you have any left over, out of date brochures from UPenn?

Grasping at straws is a well known English idiom. Obviously, you have difficulty with all language. Typical of those raised in an oral environment.
Just because you learned an idiom in school, it doesn't mean it is widely used.

Example: bed of roses.

Jillio, everyone knows you're an idiot.:hmm:

Yet another example of why you are an idiot. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the wiki page to get direct source.

Wiki is simply a compilation of source.

Penn State University and University of Pennsylvania are 2 different colleges.
*Sighs*

We refer University of Penn as Penn state sometimes. Just talk to anyone from University of Penn. My degree says University of Penn. Thanks.

Just because you didn't go to school and have a lacking ability to use language doesn't mean that it isn't a widely used idiom. You seem to be the only one that didn't recognize it.:laugh2:

Oh, yeah, spoken like a college grad.:laugh2:

Nope. They are just a good part of my life.
That's what the hoarders say. They need to hold onto things.

Other than that, what do you actually do for a living?

Not at all. :) You?
