:lol: Come to think of it, the term is rarely used here at AD, but it's used to describe someone who is known for resorting to excessive expression of distress on a frequent basis.

It's astonishing how low someone will go to perceive something as a death threat and be serious about it. Ridiculous.

It's just amazing how easily one would feel threatened by a so-called death threat even though it's meant as a sarcastic remark. For instance, if somebody yells, "I'm going to kill you!" after I pull a prank on them. Do I take them seriously and call the cops?

No, because I know the difference between a sarcastic threat and a real threat. If people cannot tell the difference, then I feel sorry for them.

Reminds me of the article on that deaf professor who got fired over that so-called death threat.

No kidding. That was absurd, too. Hearing people can be so sensitive.
