you mean there are people who can't see colors in their thoughts? how do they know what is red if they can't see it in their thoughts? Is it anything in particular that causes you to picture colors?

I guess some people spend more time thinking in words (and the sound of it) than pictures.

Like I said, some scientists say everyone has it, to SOME degree. Kind of how everyone has a li'l ADD in 'em. The 1 in 2000 statistic is usually used to describe people who're synesthetic to the point that it borders on hallucinations.
