Question about attending hearing college/university

Hi my name is Shawna and I am new to all deaf. What is it like for a deaf or hard of hearing person to attend a hearing college/university?
 
I am hard of hearing with severe hearing loss. I wear hearing aid and I can speak.
 
Well, if you don't know ASL, you can get CART services and possibly a note taker.
 
yeah CART would work wonderfully. I havent experience it but i would like that very much. I use an interpreter.. BUT i think cart is the better due to saving the notes, just like notetaker.
 
CART, Note taker (I would rather go with CART), if you use FM System then that, laptop (I take notes faster on laptop than paper/pen), sitting in front of class... maybe getting notes beforehand of class to review or ask teacher to post notes up on website for you to access... if videos CC (of course!), recorder (I can't hear crap out of that but I ask my parents/friends to dictate what is said)....
