One word...

NETFLIX!

Rent it on netflix and see if you like it or not.

I am currently watching 4th season of Sliders. Then soon will move on to Stargate SG-1. Then Alantis then Quantum Leap. It will be a while before I get to Quantum Leap. But its on my list.

Recommend get on netflix and watch it before you buy.

Ahhh I used to watch Quantum Leap.. damn would be nice to see it again.. I think it was shown on one channel on my satelitte dish but will have to check to confirm....I dont think I saw the last episode where Sam leapt into the void or so... would love to see that one...

There was a rumor that they would make a Quantum Leap movie... and/or a new series.

As the original series ended with Sam disappearing off the radar, the new movie/series continues where Al tries to track him down and gets help of Sammy Jo, Sam's daughter... who becomes the next "Leaper" trying to track down her father.

Someone told me that Scott Bakula (the actor who played Sam Beckett) was willing to do his role again, but was asked to star in Star Trek: Enterprise in exchange for a chance to do the Quantum Leap movie/series... but I don't see that happening. I guess it was a project that was brought up too many times that they eventually gave it up. :(

Unfortunately, I don't see that going anywhere. :(

on latest show when NBC decide to cancel it. The producers had to hurry up and finish up. Yet, it's narrow messy on end that I don't appericate it.

It's sad to see that Sam will never return with his family for eternity.

Actually, Ziggy is a supercomputer that the handheld device communicates with. ;)

There was another interesting episode... where Sam leaped into a guy in a mental asylum. Just as Sam leaped into that guy, he was given shock treatment rattling up his brain and gave him multiple personalities... of all of those he leaped into before.

The next episode was the episode I mentioned before this... where Sam and Al switch places. ;)

Yep, "Shocked Theater" is the last one of Season 3 and "The Leap Back" is the start of the 4th season. Now you know what to look for when reading the tv guide. :)

I used to love watching Quantum Leap.

For some reason, This episode to this day still sticks to me. I don't recall which season it was on but anyway, It was showing Sam leaping into a guy who is a police officer of a small town and his wife was in a mental asylum. He had to raise his daughter by himself and in the next segment, Sam leaped into the body of the daughter's boyfriend. As a result, the house got caught on fire and he had to save the daughter from the fire.

I still watch the re-runs from time to time on Sci-Fi channel.

Those three episodes are in the last season (5th). He leaped into a sheriff of a small Louisana town. The daughter's name is Abigail.

One Little Heart; Trilogy, Part 1
For Your Love; Trilogy, Part 2
The Last Door; Trilogy, Part 3

It looks like the Ion network is putting out those Quantum Leap episodes in its order. When I first noticed the Quantum Leap is back on my tv, I was about 4 episodes too late as I want to watch the first episode. :( Maybe I will see it again next year or on DVD. Good idea, Deaf Mortgage, to subscribe Netflix.

If I understand this right, next Tuesday (July 22) there will be a deaf character in that evening's episode of Quantum Leap. This is on ION network. I haven't seen this one so I look forward to it. :)

I saw the episode with the deaf woman who was an aspiring dancer in it. Is that the episode you are talking about, Buffalo?

There is one of episode with deaf woman who was a dancer. That episode
called is: "Private Dancer" on Season 3 DVD.

P.S.: I have Quantum Leap Season 3 DVD with English SDH.

Yes, "Private Dancer" is on tonight. 8PM my time so I will be watching TV in 10 minutes.
