it doesnt matter. Once you got it, download for new latest version.

Yea, that right.

I suggest you check out the games available before getting the PSP. What if there aren't many games you want, would you still get the PSP? I'd hate to see you get a PSP and find out that there isn't much to play with.

Some games are also not what they seem when comparing between the home console version and the portable version. For instance, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, & 3 were all the same. Metal Gear Acid is different. Instead of you doing all the action, you just sit there picking a card that determines your next move. Once you use that card, that card is gone. It's like you're given a full hand and the game proceeds depending on what you have in your hand. My friend was excited about Metal Gear Acid and bought it. He was disappointed and tried to take it back, but couldn't cuz it was opened.

Find one on ebay eh? last Friday I found 2 used PSP Premiums for 150 each at a pawn shop while I was looking for some cheap deals there. I woud have gotten one of them in a heartbeat but alas I didnt have enough cash burning in my pocket at that time.

Its the OS software that most need to be upgraded but it can be done on an internet connection.

There is one CON about the upgrade. Before the upgrade, you can download a Nintendo (or Super Nintento?) emulator for your PSP. After the upgrade, you can't.

Well, I rather buy one brand new on eBay... I always boring at work during graveyard shift, so I might can play PSP to kill my time...

I don't think you want PSP. Because Nintendo DS is already 6 times popular than PSP. There are many greater game for DS than PSP does. SERIOUSLY!

Plus longer battery! OMG! More time to play than see pretty.

Umm, I guess I need to more research on PSP and DS Lite...

I like PS2 the best.

at least GTA:Liberty City stories is alot better on the PS2 than on the PSP.

First, Wal-Mart stop sell UMD movie for PSP.
Second... Target stop sell UMD movie, too! :D

Yea, I know but there's sell PSP movies at Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, FYE, Sam Goody, Sony Style and some other electronic stores but Wal-Mart and Target are moot point because they are sell poorly and too limited. I just avoid to buy at Target and Wal-Mart since 2005. Sony took all PSP movies out of market from both of them but most electronic stores are good sales with PSP movies.

It's like happened to Apple Mac and they don't want on market at Wal-Mart and Target because Apple will lose funds but Apple is start on market for Mac computer, software, games and accessories at Best Buy soon but it's successful to sell at Compusa and Apple store.

If UMD movies are discontinue then I would buy iPod for watch video because there's too many cool tv shows can download on iPod but if it discontinue and people can download video for PSP via Media Manager instead of UMD movies but it won't gonna happen since sale for UMD movies are good in some electronic stores and you can buy PSP-to-TV adapter, Nyko created it to help sale of UMD to keep stable.
