Actually I believe there is a mountain somewhere near Astatula in northern Florida.

I believe there is no reason for us to worry about going in depression, because it is not going to be here anytime soon - probably not in our life.

For the amount mentioned, they could give each American one million dollars. That would end the crisis easily and we would all be very happy.

Come to think of it (I'm slow) I recall hearing something about this very thing the other day and I think I wanna say a half million bucks.
 
I have to respectfully disagree with that one. It is all about politics. Politicians make the decisions and set the policies that lead to the very financial crisis that the U.S. is experiencing.

Mortgage/credit crisis has been part of political issue because of Federal Reserve (FR) and other administration under federal, we had recession in 2001 and last until 2003 due dot-com bust, 9/11 and few other reason, FR has changed the interest rate so several time before recession happens in 2001, now, recently on issue is credit and mortgage crisis. House price has been went up in 2000-2005, even extremely overpriced in some states, such as CA. It's some part of Bush's fault because he don't care about financial issue, including credit and mortgage, he thought market will fix itself but nothing is happen, he's sounds like Hoover when back in great depression, now, he's realized that market won't able to fix then end up to ask congress for put $700 billion to recover the economy issue, I'm glad that he made his attention and take care of economy right now.

If not recovered then recession in this year would be much worse than in 2001, mortgage/credit crisis is more serious than dot-com bust.

Now after 2001 recession, dot-com, known as internet businesses are mainstream.
 
Okay. It's okay if you guys disagree with me. "shrug" I never have own house yet. I am not ready for buy a new house because of mortgage and economy suck! I remember it was 9/11 WTC.

Credit/mortgage would become mainstream after end of crisis but not know about crisis would be last, dot-com bust were last for several month in 2001, both of credit and mortgage companies have learn their mistake to cause crisis and alot of investment, crisis has been happened since 2005, just before democrat tookover in congress in Jan 2007 and they aren't able to recover at this time due conflict with republican about views of economy.

Good thing, real estate price are falling since 2006 and this year, it's similar to average house price in 2003.
