I would to inform you that I have been praying for all of the federal employees and their families. I hope this budget debate will end without a govt shutdown.
 
Been praying as well for this to not happen. I really feel for Shel90 and her hubby as well as others who are really going to be affected by it.
 
Must have been answered. It was just announced on late news that they have come to an agreement and the government will not shut down.
 
Yes! But it's only a temporary agreement if I understand correctly.
 
Yes they have come to a temporary agreement which is temporary funding to keep the government open. I hope they reach an official long term agreement before this temporary one ends next week.

Thank you, Sue...I was really nervous about this whole thing because my salary isn't enough to pay for all of our bills but I had to remind myself that with my job, we would still have some income coming in.There are lots off families who don't have two incomes and I can't imagine how stressful it would be for them
 
You know, it is funny. My hubby kinda wished the govt shut down so he could have some days off. He may get his wish next week. I dont mind him having days off but with pay! Without pay, NO!
