Prayers needed...

Sad to hear about what happened to your son Allen.

Hope he will back home with you soon.

Oh dear, I feel hurt for you and your son Allen after read your post here for a first time today. I know how you feeling... it's scary... :hug:

I keep him in my thoughts and prayers and keep pray that he make a speedy recovery.

Keep update new to let us know about his recovery.

After I posted thread.. I went back to hospital.. Drs and Nurses did switch different medications... they said it responsed to Allen's lungs very well and they also gave him epi-ritic (sp?-i know i am real bad speller).. that use for allergy reaction epi-pen.. it looks like pen that you stab on your leg when you have bad reaction allergy before go ER or hospital..
After they gave him epi-ritic.. all his body went slow down and back to almost little normal.. responsed the different medications very well.. hes off oxygen..
Good news.. drs and nurses said that he might go home today later in evening after the tests pass.. but we told them that we feel better that he goes home tomorrow morning.. (tuesday).. to make sure hes ok..

Whoa I went back and re-read.... your son ate chicken? ....It might not be the allegric reaction.

You should ask the doctor to check for the H5N1 Virus ( Bird Flu Virus ) See website link from Center for Dieases Control.

The White House just had an emergency meeting on this a couple of days ago I think yesterday or 2 days ago????? Ask your doctor just to be sure !!!!!

Drs already tested the blood for food poisioning and virus.. nothing.. thanks for warning.. :D

Hi Doofusmama, Do you think when you have a chance , can you post the right spelling of the medicine so that the ladies will know what it is? I am sure the guys would like to know as some are fathers themselves or like I am an uncle myself to many kids ( whew, man ) I would like to remember the name of the medicine for future reference, if I ever run into that situation and can ask the doctor to see what they think to use that medicine to save life. Thank you and God Bless, glad your son is home and doing better !!!!! That is awesome. :) Merry Christmas !!!!!

Sure, while I was waiting for my mom to come watch my last baby and read your post.. I digged up and found out the right spell for it..

Here the I misspelled earlier.. my apologizes..
Epinephrine (for allergic reaction emergency)..
Nebulizers... Albuterol and Pulmicort respules..
oral liquid.. prednisolone..

new medications I will find out later when i come back home..

[m]Good News.. He's home!!! [/m]

he straight to the sisters and brother and Rocky our dog, spend time with them.. then fall sleep, he slept ever since 9pm.. so peacefully.. Hes so happy to be home, he missed his pillow and his blanket....

Doctors said hes good to go home and stay on medications for one week but taking pulmicort repluse everyday till dr say stop..
Now I am going bed, I missed my bed and my man.. its been too empty and the hospital cot.. is too stiff.. my back and my neck are sore stiff..

glad to know allen is doing better.. I got scared when I read the beginning of this thread but I'm just kinda of relieved he got better.. :)

That's wonderful news! I bet your son deserved being HOME and cannot live without family christmas.. I believe.. which I read your prevouis posted that your son stated, "Allen said.. I dont want christmas, I want get myself better.. everyone try to hold tears.. its heartbreaking for me.." reason why his goal want going home and have his family christmas together.. Your son is prayer his answered!
