Prayers for Deaf friend

I just learned that the son of a deaf friend of mine was kidnapped today. Still getting the details but apparently he left for work this morning and left his 3 sons with the babysitter. He later got a call that the babysitter had taken the youngest son (a few months old) and most of his possesions while leaving the other 2 boys in the home. I will post more details when I get them.
 
I hope they have Amber Alert out right now on his child. That's absolutely awful. Will keep them in my thoughts and hope they find him as soon as possible!
 
How incredibly heartbreaking and scary. I will keep your friend and his son in my prayers. I pray that he be found today, safe and sound and returned home where he belongs.
 
Just checked.....not currently. Hopefully there will be one. I know the police were involved quickly
 
Isn't the point of an Amber Alert to get the information out quickly? I hope they do it soon. They will find the baby, and he will be okay. This person sounds like they are clearly emotionally disturbed, but not the type that would harm the baby. It sounds like maybe she had been wanting a child and couldn't for whatever reason. This was her "opportunity." The baby will be found, safe and sound. I just hope the parents don't have to wait much longer.
 
Surprised. I thought they immediately do an Amber Alert. That is the point.
 
OH NO....I am praying for your friend, their family and the children. also pray the person that took this baby..is caught quickly. And for you, what a good friend you are...Peace to you..stay positive..Midnight♥♥♥

Oh no! I will be praying for safety of the infant and that he will be found soon.
 
This is awful. Where did this happen?

We had a case like that recently in Virginia, and the child was found safe, very quickly. I will be hoping and praying that the situation ends up the same for your friend. He must be frantic.

How old are the other two children, the ones who were not taken? Are they old enough to give the police any useful information?

Will be keeping them in my thoughts and prayers.

Well he said babysitter. Honestly...this will come out bad, but it's hard to understand what he is writing sometimes.

He said something about his ex wife had dropped him off at the airport. Then she went back by the house because the 2 older boys are hers and she made the discovery that the baby was gone.

Wow. That's lucky that she went back to the house immediately. Otherwise if she had gone on to work or something it could have been all day that the little ones were alone and no one knowing about the baby being taken.

Northern California. The other 2 I am guessing are 6 and 8. I know they are school age. It is spring break here this week

Who does the baby belong to (yes, your friend, right? but who is the mother?) It is not the ex-wife, if I'm reading you correctly that the 2 older boys are hers?
 
Why didn't the two older boys call 911 once they realized the babysitter was making off with a lot of their belongings AND the infant? How old are the 'older two boys'?

Yes, he is remarried.
