That is one reason why I took the pictures as it contain the rays and it was so awesome.

in case others are not sure what it is.. the picture particular that have that strange looking is called anti-crepuscular rays. This phenomena is called Atmospheric Optics.

What lovely pictures so beautiful. So rare sometime draw us to see so colorful phenomena. :) Your link is very interesting and guess what I found is Atmospheric Phenomena...Sundogs, Moondogs, Noctilucent Clouds, Etc. - a set on Flickr
 
Oh my God, beautiful pictures!!!!!!!!

I bought a new digital camera/video last week. I am going to take some sunset pictures when I see what I like.

yeah i was going to send you link about that but I forgot till i posted it lol.. duh me.. i had many things going on due to viewing and funeral. at least you see it now.. :)

I saw lot of halos the past few months. many were so awesome due to different circles and colorful etc. many of my cameras not work take it clearly. I asked TJ's father to take picture with his cell phone. it not work. i guess need a good digital camera to take pics of the moon! dang!

Took pictures yesterday...

wow still snow? Here is not snow yet...

I took some pictures of sunset view from my house yesterday morning by 7.00 am (I know the time because I wake my son up for go to college). The weather here is still friendly sunshine...
