I am fine with that speed for two VPs, 3 computers and Wii.

Around six months ago, Our ISP keeps disconnection so ofter like 4-5 times a week. I noticed modem's d/l Power Level was too low than spec. So I had to replace whole the coaxial cable from outside of house to modem by us. After that, the power level went up to normal spec and no more disconnection for over 5 months. No, I didn't want to waiting for five days till tech came here from ISP when our ISP was down.

Wow, that's really fast download speeds...but upload speeds are almost non existant....weird.

The upload is very important than download for FTP, webcam, on-line game, etc.

Like dl 10Mb/s and ul 5mb/s.

I know. I would happily give up some download speed for upload. Then maybe Black Ops would be fun to play.

I think modem got locked at 0.49mb/s for upload. I know someone hack firmware on this modem to unlocked then he got around 5mb/s more for upload.

You can google it like "full model,firmware hack, unlock"

Depend on your ISP. Some ISP server locked for speed limited, not modem. I may be wrong but worth to try it.
