I got gas yesterday for $1.48.

Now it's $1.69, so I filled up for under ten dollars.

Yep, it is but at least it's stablizing now. If people continue not to drive as much, it shoudl stay at this price for a while. The question is, will people not drive as much or will they drive more since price of gas is now cheap?

Yup but OPEC will have meeting to cut on much as 2 million barrels, Russia will join with them then it means oil price would going up by no more than $30.

Maybe so in other words, enjoy the price of gas now cause most likely it'll go back up.

It probably wouldn't going up after $3 like happened in 2007 and early-mid 2008.

Remember, we are in recession and more people are using less oil, when after OPEC cut the production then it will going up for while then down again in next year, however OPEC don't understand about how recession works, also OPEC did cut 5 million barrels in 2001 when US is in recession and price has went up to around $20 per barrel.

It seems like gas price is return to inflation adjusted like in 1986 until 2003, it means gas price is usually stable and rise by inflation.
