Here in KC area (at least where I am living) it has been holding at $1.35 for past 2 weeks or so. Haven't seen it drop a penny yet. Guess we are stuck now at buck thirty five. Let's see what happens as Christmas time gets closer.

Wife made a new bet with her friend to get price down to $1.25...so far she isn't having much luck. :aw::aw:

That's $4 USD per gallon! We got you Aussies beat on that.

Right now I paid $1.67 per US gallon for 10.5 gallons gas on my ZX2 Escort that would last me 2 weeks. Last time I paid was $35 and 2 months ago it was $45

Makes me wonder how you Aussie speed freaks can handle their Falcon XR8's and HSV Commodores guzzling almost $4 gallon gas down under...
 
But it is cheap in australian dollars...

I decided to do a fair comparsion of Aussie petrol vs US petrol prices using the Holden Commodore SS and the Pontiac G8-GT (The rebadged version we get here)

The petrol tank is: on US G8 GT: 19 gallons

Petrol tank on Commodore SS: 73 litres

Cost to fill Pontiac G8 tank @ $1.59 USD/gallon: $30.21 USD
Cost to fill Commodore SS tank @ $1.05 AUD/litre: $76.65 AUD

Makes me think Im lucky I get your Aussie knowhow on the cheap if I want to buy a Pontiac G8 :) More fun with the 6.0 LS6 and 4 doors to boot.

The commodore SS is a V8 engine, and the prices are in an reasonable prices for the people who own these hungry engines. For me, it would be awesome but, V8? No sir.

2008 Pontiac G8 is a re-badged version of the Australia-built Holden Commodore, a reasonably quaffable V8-powered, rear-wheel-drive sedan based on GM's Zeta platform design (Holden is GM's Australian subsidiary).

I saw earlier today at lunch time. The price went down again to $1.03 p/l
 
$1.03 AUD per litre (liter) convert to $2.47 USD per gallion good!
 
the last time I refilled my car, it cost me $28.... nice!
 
filled up at $23. :) Last July at $50.00 or less
 
$1.94 which is the cheapest I've seen with my own eyes, after 3 cents per gallon discount it is $1.91 a gallon. It's at Safeway gas station. Seems the gas prices still dropping *shrugs*

($1.03 AUD) 0.66 cents (USD) x 3.79 = $2.50 USD

Glad it is going down more. :)
 
It is now at .99 cents per litre down here :shock:

For the first time in two and half years, I have seen that up.
 
$.75 per gallon and filled up at $10.50 today :D
