Popcorn

do you they still made jiffy pop corn ? We use made it over over the stove all the time. I did have a pop corn marker but it burned out and really was pain to use as the corn kept getting stuck while popping. I use the microwave and buy popcorn lightly butter. I use to liked red cayenne pepper and grated cheese on mine but I can't eat cayenne pepper like I use to.
yes We have jiffy pop corn. my hubby's favorite. Its ok for me. It tastes much better than mircowaveable popcorn anyway

I only eat the kernels. Not popped, of course.

soft, sure!! if it were hard, then you have to melt it forever. lol

I surely hope you mean corn on the cob or cooked corn... Not the hard dried kernels.

me too i believe so.

Last night I made popcorn ( yes air popcorn maker) with tons of butters. nothing new. lol

Use microwave most of the time, but I also have an old fashioned popper pan that we use in the fireplace in the winter. The kiddos really get a kick out of it.

We had a hot air corn popper, but actually burned out 3 of them. I normally do not like popcorn, but if we make it in the wok, I do like it.

Mother puts 2 tablespoons of oil in the wok to get hot, then 1/2 cup of popcorn. Then shakes and cooks till done. It will make close to 3-4 cups of popcorn. We have also added salt, sugar and other things in the wok for kettle style corn, but prefer the plain. We put Parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper on it.

I keep a container of chili lime seasoning on hand for seasoning popcorn. It's really good.

I will have to try that. I love lime flavored anything.

This has a really good lime flavor, with a touch of heat from the chili. I've gotten addicted to it. I found it in the same isle as the popcorn and such is in.

Now I want to eat popcorn tonight!

Australia doesn't have jiffy pop.

I do have popcorn machine, but haven't used it in years. Must start using them when nieces and nephew comes to stay.

I tend to use microwavable popcorn.

Would like to buy this later on...Kernel Season's Shop Product Detail

That looks cool. Healthier like the hot air poppers.

I have this one... [ame=http://www.amazon.com/TOASTESS-INC-TCP-6L-Cinema-Popcorn/dp/B000PRPXW8/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1312327061&sr=1-3]Amazon.com: Cinema Popcorn Maker: Home & Garden[/ame]

Although I didn't pay $78 for it. It was on sale for $25 a couple years ago at Walmart. I love this thing.

A friend of mine has a parrot and my friend was eating some popcorn while watching TV. The bird started to swank and my friend did not know why he was getting so upset, then she listen closely and her bird was saying " like it,
like it!" He wanted some popcorn too. He got two pieces and was very happy. LOL !!

I'll have to check these things out. Popcorn is one of the snacks I allow my 10 year old neice to have, but I have been relying on the microwave stuff. It is full of oils and salt. This would be so much better for all of us.

I have this plastic popcorn popper that goes into the microwave, I got it at walmart.
just put some kernels in and set for 3 mins, add butter or flavoring as needed.

Last weekend, i didnt know that my hub bought the

.

My kids told me that they wanted it last night. SO the first one I burned them so i threw it away and took the other bag. it turns out good. WHEW. It tastes not bad! my girl said, "not enough butter!" i said, " tough luck. with nice smile". :) They ate it all.

I do old-way cook popcorn. It's hard to avoid to not get burn.

Wirelessly posted

I use a stovetop popper similar to the Whirly Pop. But I use a stainless steel movel. No aluminum. Bad for you . . .
