One of member just PM me that this person made mistake with vote. I regret to inform this person that I can not change anything because I have set this voting booth to be anonymous. I don't see how I can manipulate the voting result. So if you made mistake feel free to PM Alex and let him know and I don't know if Alex can fix for you or not.

DHB, all polls are created the same. None can be viewed by either the originator OR administration. All polls on this forum are therefore inately anonymous in nature.
 
Nope you can select to make it show in public. I choose the anonymous.

I apologize, you are correct. However, I have never seen anyone post a poll that was not anonymous and I really didn't pay attention to the options when posting the other poll. As I said, I'm human and I make mistakes too. Additionally, I am able to own up to those mistakes and learn from them.
Make votes public: Displays all users who voted, and what choice they voted for.

Honestly, this is the best and fair poll I have seen for the last 2 days....


I voted PG-13!!!, I don't understand why some of them voted " G " ?...I didn't know there will be 4 years old posting in AD :giggle: ...
 
I agree that this is the best poll so far and is very fair.

The problem I had with the other polls is some of the terminology. Backing off on offensive material is not oppressing anyone's freedom of speech (as was mentioned in the other polls). Keeping things clean is not freedom of speech. If that were the case, then things such as racial slurs would have to be acceptable (and most of us agree that they would not be acceptable).

Yeah it could be less than PG-13 rated... It´s normal signatures... I see nothing wrong for the kids to look them when they visit AD forum.
 
artisic sigs and avtars are fine but photos, and blanant disgreard for other poeple isn't.... thats IMHO i watched u all fight for so long u haven't considered the public factors... too many sexually explict sites are being blocked for veiwing. due to 2 reasons. parents didnt permit them in the schools unless resarch or showing them in lecture such as health education, and other is inapporirate for veiwing. Schools and Libaries are blocking them and take dennis comment he made he cant refer alldeaf now because of the exposure of nudity. there are many poeple who may want to ask questions about the asl the deaf culture and many other issues related to CI, or health or parenting the deaf, but when they are exposed to the avtar and or sigs they themselves wld be * turned off* by the first impressions. newbies are new and takes a while for them to get used to forum boards. but if we toned it down a bit and still express in the art form not photos and or just being disrespectful, then we can be able to refer alldeaf for more exposures to help the community out... this isn't helping the community when we have to be exposed to our personal sexual life which i don't want to know or hear about, also disrespecting the parents who have asked nicely only to get the snob comments,, yes u have the right to express ur arts and ur belifs which is fine but there is a fine line with concept of deaf community who wants to share the experince of Deaf life not Deaf SEX life!

nudity is natural which different as porn.
