Obama is NOT a president.... We (Europeans) warmly greet Presidents from different countries which is show their respectful manner....
Because the Pentagon did NOT ask Obama not visit wounded troops. The Pentagon only said that he could visit as a Senator, not as a campaigner. Obama would have to leave all the cameras behind.
Would Germans react the same way to a visit by President Bush? After all, he really is the President of the USA..
The Pentagon did NOT say he couldn't visit them.
Are you accusing the Pentagon of lying?I feel those article is being twist...
FactCheck.org: Snubbing Wounded Troops?
Obama phones wounded soldiers - First Read - msnbc.com
Obama know for WEEKS before made his oversea trips that he is not allow to bring camera etc with him to visit wounded troops at hospitail. He DID visited wounded troops at hospitail WITHOUT camera, etc in Iraq and Agfanistion before visit to Germany.
Pentagon advised Obama to not visit wounded troops because it would be view as a campaign event. Obama cancelled out of his respect to wounded troops instead of use them to boost his vote.
McCain complained about Obama not going to Iraq and Afghanistan for weeks. So Obama went to Iraq and Afghanistan and then McCain complain about Obama being overseas???????? He can't have both ways...
FYI: snopes.com: Barack Obama in Afghanistan
Because his trip was paid for by campaign money - the Pentagon said, "No."
