Charges against the police for killing someone often happen. I personally have never once seen one ultimately punished beyond some unpaid time off. Now add an extenuating circumstance like rape and killing that will get a conviction now and then. Or rape alone, or some other crime.
Killing, they get away free on that. If any group of people has that kind of court backing in a seamless way all across America you will see a lot of killing going on.
We had a huge community outcry in Anchorage, Alaska about it. I will give the police there credit they have taken serious steps to make changes in how they operate. Still no punishment for killings of course but they are doing a lot less of it. It would not have happened without the rage of the community.
