I've heard enough stories about this and people with disabilities. Makes me nervous to be around cops, never know what they will do if I don't hear them.
Even actions with multiple meanings will be considered as hostile intent. But at the same time, the law states to use just enough force to disable person's hostile actions, NOT kill them (unless of course individual is using a weapon to kill).![]()
That law was meant to disarm, not to kill an unarmed man.
When gun play is involved, they just can't walk up to the perp and retrieve the gun, they have to take him down doing their best not to kill them, but bullet hits are no guarantee it eon't be fatal.
That's true, and it's their job to be prepared for the worst. This, however, was excessive. I have a feeling they're gonna cover their tracks by destroying that evidence, and saying they didn't do it. Either way, the Feds will probably at least have an interest in the case.
Probably won't be going anywhere, seems like this country only cares ehen a prerson of interest or big $$$:is involved.
That is really unfortunate, but it's also the reality we live in today.
