MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- An 11-year-old boy who allegedly tried to sell marijuana to another student at an elementary school will likely face drug possession charges, authorities said.
The unidentified boy, a fifth-grader at Highland Elementary School, was arrested Wednesday after he offered to sell the drug to a fourth-grade student. A teacher later learned what happened and told school administrators, who then contacted police.
Authorities said it was unclear as to how the boy got the drugs. He has been suspended for a week, and the case was referred to Family Court in Bergen County
