Yeah, we got the day off for workers today ( may 1st ) also. I remma as a child in Hawaii, they got a May Day.. heh, not that kinda emergency, but the kind you celebrate diversity in this Hawaiian "court" made with kiddie queen and king with all the princes and princesses of islands that make up Hawaii. They got younger kids showing off diverse dances.. Hawaiian, Dutch, you name it... kiddie version, of course :) So May 1st is also a special day for Hawaiians. Boy's Day or Girl's Day is on May 2nd???? (japanese tradition with all the dolls...)

We are GMT +12 (New Zealand)

I got laughed off the job cos too many guests ended up wetting themselves.... hence I was an occupational hazard...
