Pictures in avatar?

I started to notice several AD'ers use their real faces in their avatar section. Is it latest trend/fad in AD community? Or did I miss something going on when I was out for the trip?

Curiosity is killing me.
 
I still keep complaining that 100x100 isn't big enough for avatars...lol
 
me2 wanna fun avatars but find horrible tiny and limit sig.. Piece of lousy..

I miss ol'de ways... :(

I was told by a female member that a recent picture of me used as my avatar reminded her of Antonio Banderas just the other day.

Well, I did feel quite complimented. :)

Well I know I used to switch between pics of me with friends and stuff.. I just think its one more step to seeing who you're posting with, you know? :)

btw, Banjo, seem that you locked the pms out. I was trying to send you a pm with link & comments few mins ago but seem that you no longer accept the pms. I even tried the email feature and no luck. So how and which do you prefer me to send the link & comments over?

Honestly, I think it is cool idea for some AD'ers to reveal their faces in these avatar. Something new and fresh about it.

Well, some jails do provide the computer & internet access. So... you may type & post from jail where you are in? :D

Me too. I always want to know what people look like. Don’t ask me why—I just have this insatiable desire to see what people I only know through writing look like. I’m even that way when I think about the possibility of extraterrestrial life—my first thought is always ‘what do they look like?’

I would never get Internet privileges if I were in jail. I’m a baaaaad monkey… :P

Well, before you saw my picture for the first time... what was your vision of what I looked like in your mind?

I'm kinda of a geek when it come to this too as well.

Haha or maybe you are seeking for other 'chimp' lady to mate? ;) (Miss Chimp, don't bite me! I am joking!) I am in same boat where you are in, I always wonder what they looks like and such.

I like being able to see who I'm interacting with. So I guess it's the whole do unto others thing.

Yeah and some members even said you almost look like actor Jack Black also lol

Well right now you ALMOST look like one of the actors with a cap from the CSI show... I forget his name but he does have those kind of bushy eyebrowns like yours lol

I just thought of changing into something else than having the same image all the time. I might change again within two months or so. :ily:
