Oddball, I do have very blue eyes. Definitely got the Scandanvian in me - strawberry hair and blue eyes :)

Before the race (yea yea yea don't mind my chicken legs :lol: ) -

After the race - Got my victory headband, tshirt, and Dos Equis beer. I had to try hard not to shiver while posing for this pix cuz of hypothermia. Prior to finish line, I had to go thru this water slide where there was a small pool of frigid water at the end.

Oh this reminds me of my Xcountry days, only I recall them a bit more fondly than you recall this race, LOL.
