I just got the new Naida Q Up and got the Compilot as well. I switched from Analog to these and so far I am loving it. I am hearing more and more things. But my main concern is that that I can not find a compilot case anywhere, not even from Phonak. Anyone have any luck

I don't have one and have not even seen one but what I have done for a number of devices is re-purpose a container from something else. Even a plastic food container. For example at one time I wanted to carry some extra AAA batteries and discovered that they fit well in an empty plastic Tic-Tac container.

Like Jane I repurpose containers for things. Maybe a small camera case would work.

There isn't a compilot case. I had a zebra case made for my compilot when I had it.

Not sure why there isn't a case as I think a lot of people would buy a case especially made for the compilot by Phonak.

I was thinking that to re-purpose something into a compilot case. I just hope when I go back to the Audi that she can fix some of the issues I have been having with the Naida Q Up. I switched from Phonak Analog. Granted with the Analog everything is Louder, but I miss out on certain sounds. I am hoping she can make music clearer, it gets muffled out especially when I try to blast my favorite songs. When it comes to Pop/Country the music is clearer. However Hip Hop/Rap it gets muffled a bit. Even with compilot plugged in via blue tooth it's still a bit muffled. I truly hope she can fix that. I love music more than anything. When it comes to Whitney Houston Carrie Underwood Jessie J I can hear those notes I never heard before, when the music has a lot of bass or drum it mellows it out. Frustrates the heck outta me when I drive. So I wear my old analog hearing aide while I drive. I am going to see The Great Gatsby tonight (Advanced Screening), and I am bringing my old hearing aide just in case. I wish they had the PCD - Personal Captioning Devices, but oh well can't complain it's a free movie. If the music thing can't be fixed, I will have to reconsider these new Naida Q UPs. Even with daily wearing some sounds seem muffled. Then in my right ear I hear a frequent 'soft train whistle' type of sound. Never in the left ear, maybe it's because of the fit of the ear mold. IDK.

Regards to music, there are a few options.

You can have one of your manual program's set up as music. The program would be called music.

With the compilot, there is
Audio - is via the plug. Can be for music.
Bluetooth 1 - is for phone calls.
Bluetooth 2 - is for music via Bluetooth.
FM - is something else.

With the audio and Bluetooth 2, they can be set up differently so music sounds better but it won't effect your calls or FM, if you have one.

The compilot has new software in it so it works automatically (without being linked to your Naidas or software) with the Naidas but I would recommend getting it fine tuned, if it hasn't already been.

I have to go back Thursday for my check up. Hopefully she is able to fix the music issue. Music has always been a huge part of my life. My Audi seems totally legit and down to Earth and willing to work with me to help me achieve the best I can with my hearing aides. I hate switching back and forth between my old analog for music while driving, then my digital for everything else.
