Pet haters

If I am single. I ain't have pet in my home!

If I am marriage. I still will NOT pet in my house!

If I have two children or least. It's up to kids who can take care of pet and I will buy stuff for pet! As long, I am gonna to make children happy.

You'll let your kids have a pet to make them happy, but not your spouse? What's the difference? Most parents wind up taking care of the pet (chores like walking, feeding, etc) eventually anyway.

You'll be surprised to see quite a handful of those 'so-called pet haters' who have gotten converted to pet lovers after having a cat or dog in the household for a few months.
My husband, despite having grown up with cats and dogs -- he was a self-proclaimed cat hater whilst I'm a big time cat lover. I didn't worry much when I was given a burmese kitten for my birthday 4 years ago because my parents in law had this old family cat, Mork, who lived for 15 years and had always found Mork sitting and drooling/purring his head off on my hubby's lap.

Hubby allows my 2 cats, Rosie and Pizza into the bedroom until I've gotten into bed -- then we lock the cats out of the room, heh. I don't mind them in the bedroom, but not whilst sleeping because Rosie drives us both nuts by her pacing all over us and licking our faces! Augh!

(My dad was the same while I was growing up - always said he hated cats, but allowed my sister and myself bring home homeless or free kittens! In all -- we had 14 cats all up! At first, Dad denied falling in love with the cats we brought home...soon we caught him letting the cats in during a stormy day, cuddling them and playing with them! As soon as sister and I walked into the room, Dad'd be up and away -- acting like he was doing something else!! After some years, Dad gave up his act and didn't mind having cats on his laps and us seeing them on his lap! ;))

Funny, waterrats, my dad was not keen about animals neither. LOL, but I finally saw my dad playfully chasing Bo around TV area upstairs. It was funny to see my dad chasing Bo around. LOL Bo is a fast dog!! Damn. I should call her Mexican Jump bean!! LOL

I strongly disagree with you on this one because if the couple break up, they'll fight over the custody of the pet. I have seen it myself, and I don't want it to ever happen to me!

It's just not worth it. It's usually a bad idea for couples who aren't even married to get a pet because they may end up hating each other.

I always crick when I see couples getting pets because I consider it a big step in their relationship but in most cases, it's a bad step because it tend to lead them to a nasty break-up.

Myself, I'll say singles are better off having pets prior to entering a solid relationship.

Yes, I read the newspapers about married couple who seeking for a divorce fought to have the custody of their dog. A lady won at court. The man has the visit rights & visit to see the dog every 2 weekends & pay her the dog support. Crazy isn't it? But it's not a first time.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me to have my darling Sussi, cat around when I'm having sex with my hubby because I trust her for not tell anyone what/how we did in the bed.... :nana:

She wake me up everyday at exactly time (6.30am) because she knows I get up for go to work BUT she must stay out of our bedroom during weekends!!! She came to greet me after work at exactly time every day.

Welllllll....I love my animals...all three of them...but during intimate moments, I would much rather they remain in another ROOM. LOL.

It's not pleasant to find a cat looking down at you with an inquisitive paw raised just when you're about to...

...oh, never mind. :)

U dont want ur cat's paw to touch ur ass while u are cumming?

LOL, I don't want her anywhere near me when I'm in that position...she tends to...attack.

Claws and bare skin don't mix.

You know when a cat is on your lap or chest and you feel it massaging its claws into you? I wondered if a cat ever did that on its owner's back while the owner is having sex! Funny visual!

pets and a new relationship

i just met my current girlfriend and like, i dont understand, shes got pets inside, and i have never had pets in the house before, it bothered me a bit when i was dating a girl in the past, and i felt selfish to imply that i didnt like it...sleeping in a room whare hair and an "animal" scent was evident.

im sorry but, when i moved into my current house, i had a back pantry that had a dog in it prior, and it took months to get the smell out...its really bothered me..and it was on concrete.

this whole talk about animals and sex is fine, i agree, its not something i want to have around me, pets in the bed room while im having sex, but like...we both have kids....our attention span is limited and while were bothing working, taking care of kids, and still trying to maintain a healthy relationship, should i feel bad for having the idea that perhaps pets in the bed room isnt healthy, and not just for our "health" but for our intimate attention on one another and everything else?

somehow i feel this might be an issue, but i want to know your opinions before i get a home with her, and find out its an issue.

how do i break my feelings to her?

thanks,
KJ :ugh:

im really cat-lovers because i like cats lots but i dont hate pet!

my boyfriend have 2 dogs when i visit him last January and i dont pet him i tried to pet his dogs and not more friendly dogs but i do like friendly dogs very much than nothing!

many people who like cat lovers or dog lovers for longtimes and who hates pet lovers because of allergics cat's hair and dog's hair.

my mom told me about my late Grandfather got allergy of Cat's hair but i never know that i says oh really.

i like animals for short periods of time.

i tried to keep a cat once, but i am gone so much between work and partying that i was never home, and she peed all over my apartment, so i gave her away to a friend who takes good care of her.

i dont care if someone i am dating has pets...the person your dating is so much more important than wether or not they have animals that bother you.

i pity the person who kicked their bf out because of the dogs, i have no doubt it could have been avoided if one of you would have bent a little bit.

I am content with the companionship of my siamese fighting fish
Mozart, although I like cats, dogs, birds and all the other little animals usually made as household pets, I don't want them in my home because I really do consider them filthy.

Yes, he had the nerve to say, its me or the cat.......I smiled, and said honey you have to ask??? and he was out!!! He was so shocked lol....... My cats are my BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love all cats, especially mine.......

Has this ever happened to you before at all???

yes it happenedt o me before.. one guy i dated in late 1999 didnt like cats. He wanted me to move in with him and i told him what about my cats and my dog? he said no animals. I said then it wont work out between us. I cant give my animals up as i have them longer than my ex? i broke up with him cuz of animals.

my ex bf last year told me he love animals.. later i found out as he doesnt like them to sleep on his bed. when he sleep over here- he had no choice but over at his house- dog cant sleep on his bed? I was like ok. whatever.. i told him u should have been honest with me in first place instead of lying about it? :ugh2:

i cant abandon my dog mac as he is 13 yrs old. He is blind and deaf. There is no way i can give him away. he is my best friend and my companion! so sweet dog! heh.. :)

I dont date men who dislike pets or are allergic to fur :) it avoids possible conflicts with my lifestyle
