Last I checked, none of the hearing people I know have had any problems with the use of ASL signs of any sort for discrimination. I have heard everything else, including that they don't like it for the reason that it is based on French via French Sign Language and they don't like the French (I don't see how this makes any sense, but hey, I ain't gonna argue with someone who don't want to change their mind.), but PC, never.
