PDA with window mobile 5.0 ?

That is big mistake to think this way! Almost nothing is immune to viruses! But anything to do with Micro$oft tend to have much higher risk of getting attacked. Plenty of virus writers are against Micro$oft and would do anything to mess up with Bill Gate's stuff.

Way to go dude. Guess they're jealous.

Anyway, have you tried the Battery Pack Pro. I tested it out on a 14 day trial and it seems very cool over the SPB Plus. I like both.

i havent tried that, but i heard it is good one. i tried Batti 2.0. which is freeware. it is very nice. you can select any colors or sizes on a bar that stays on top of screen, but SPB pocket plus has battery bar on top of screen twoo so why i need two prgrams for that ? if i change my mind for making some colors for the bar i wud go back to Batti 2.0 cuz it is free.

golflover, how do u like mail2web.com ?

GraysonPeddie, yea i had upgraded that activesync to 4.2 right after MS released it. thanks...

Old news..

Windows is number 1 target for virus attack.
Everyone know that.

I still have OLD PDA from 2002. It's Pocket Pc. I am not happy with that when battery is died so I lost everything files and restart whole O/S.

I take battery off from PALM and nothing lost data. It's still there.

I know my PDA is pretty OLD but I keep it for use wifi, tool, hacker, etc.

You the man! configured according to your instructions and had most of my email forwarded to mail2web. Everything WORKS and any incoming email to my PDA is making my PDA vibrate!!! Now, I am a happy camper! Thanks...

Am always trying something new for our PDAs

Of course M$ OS has been number one targets for viruses. My point is NOTHING is absolutely immune from viruses. Even MAC, Linux do get viruses but not as often as M$.

who has any mobile/PDA with window mobile 5.0 ? what applications do you have in your pda ? i would love to get some ideas from you if you have cool programs in your PDA.

my PDA is Cingular 8125.

Some cool freebie softwares in my PDA are Total Commander, Batti 2.0, Agile Messenger, Tonaya Weather to Go, and Flash Player. SPB Pocket Plus 3.1 is too cool tool to run my pda smoothly.

Unfortunately I have Pocket PC 2002, which is older version of Windows Mobile. But I am really interesting to get WM5.0. I have been thinking of buying HP Ipaq or Dell Axiom PDA. I am not sure if you know when WM 6.0 will come out? If it would be few years more to wait, I would go ahead and buy WM 5.0 PDA.

I currently use Toshiba e740 PDA which is very good but not very good with ActiveSync.

BTW, I am glad to see more deaf WM users!

I saw the latest WM 5.0 devices as below...

T-mobile Dash

Motorola Q

Those two are available with MiniSD and full QWERTY keyboard which I am looking for.

Any of you have Motorola Q yet? T-mobile Dash is not yet released to public.

I have the 6700, and i really run minimal programs on it. I have agile messenger, gmail notifier, and a funny little lie detector program that will test a persons voice and tell me if they are lying or not. Not exactly dependable, but funny.

Dash

My friend just got DASH and lets me play around with it. Very similiar to Motorola Q. Quite cool.

I just got PPC-6700 and my brother just got Dash .. I like my 6700 and my brother like his dash but we both like the WM5 on it and found it to be flexible.

I already hacked my 6700 and removed all the Sprint junkwares on it that when it hard reset it will not even restore the junkware.

I am running IM+ (Agile is nice but I will not pay 35 a year for a small program) and Sprint Wireless Relay (still in beta stage it look like but nice software) and wisbar lite (I really like this software it make WM 5 menu feel like a XP scrolling menu), For email I am using it own messager to get my pop3 and hotmails but I have not experiment push mail yet.

I also have extended battery on it so it last all day long for me without recharging and I also can connect ppc to my laptop (tethering) and use my laptop to surf the internet.

I will try to overclock my 6700 cpu and try to get it to about 520mhz and I am looking for a bluetooth vibrate (maybe have to find a headpiece with vibrate) and going to get a bluetooth gps too for it.

My brother Dash also can be connect to laptop too and he got a bluetooth gps with tomtom gps software which is very nice. Dash is pretty cool and thin too but have no touchscreen so all must be done by thumb joystick.
