Patriots are under investigation for deflating footballs

people would had bets so the ball got be right size or hell to pay
 
CNN)New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was probably "at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities" of a locker room attendant and an equipment assistant in the controversy known as "Deflategate," according to an NFL-commissioned report released Wednesday.

The report found that "it is more probable than not" that the locker room attendant and equipment assistant "participated in a deliberate effort to release air from Patriots game balls after the balls were examined by the referee" in violation of NFL rules at January's AFC title game, which the Patriots won.

"Based on the evidence, it also is our view that it is more probable than not that Tom Brady ... was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities ... involving the release of air from Patriots game balls," wrote Ted Wells, the attorney who led the investigation.

I am so sick of hearing about this , they been talking about it on the news for over 4 minutes now and this not the sport part of the news . So they'll be talking about more when it time to talk 'sports' . Boring !

Why cant the league ban Tom Brady just like Baseball banned Pete Rose for betting and 8 former white sox players who threw the 1918 world series away.

I do wonder why all the baseball players who used steroids have not been banned. However, what bothers me more is that they took away records of people who didn't use steroids.

If it is proven Brady cheated, he should be punished for it. As it stands now, the best they can say it that it is probable. This is a bit short of the cases against other players for other offenses.

I wouldn't feel too bad though, true or not, there is nothing you can really do to a guy who has everything. Brady doesn't need football.

There was no point in changing the channel b/c it was on ALL the news station out here. I wanted to hear about real news this is not news to me.
I got rid off cable , I only have basic cable now. I saw no point in paying $30 more per month for the crap on TV today . I took my dog outside instead .

I did not hear anything on the news about sex on the beach , but this sure sounds like a good name for a sleazily reality show. :giggle: But I will not be watching it.

Then turn OFF the TV and go read... a book (or as you did- take the pooch for a walk) since I am sure the news in the newspaper or online will just irritate you too. It is tiring to hear you complain about how you dislike the news and are tired of hearing about x, y and z yet you post many many stories here directly from news sources. Some of which are probably 'silly' to other people.

I find it hard to believe that even on basic cable that there wasn't ONE station that didn't have this(or any) news.
 
fair point ducky...wdys you post intresting stuff but be more diplomatic if you post news then expect people all have different views,that is nature of the news
 
He knew it. He must face the punishment. Cheating with 45-7 win against Colts = 1 year suspension, sounds fair? I do.
