Parents sue Walmart over kids' bath pictures

Parents are completely right to sue Walmart, and I hope they get a LOT of money. Separating a family like that for a month will have lasting effects on the children. Not only should Walmart be sued, but they, along with the state, should have criminal charges brought against them for wrongfully accusing the parents. How could they be so stupid? It's not like the pictures were of prepubescent girls in sexually explicit poses. Jeeze.
 
Since Dateline "To Catch a Predator", while I'm for exposing pedophiles and locking them up with Bubba as their cellmate. But otoh, when people watch the show, people with a massive dip in their IQ doesn't get or forgets that taking baby pictures of them half naked or taking a bath is nothing new and has been for years.

Just another farked up progression of society.

Yes I support the parents and wish them best of good luck to file a lawsuit against Walmart.

There´re pictures of me with baby and my hubby with baby in the bath, and also naked pictures of my babies and toddlers in 1990s. NONE of stores inform authorities against us. Why? because they have good common sense when they saw the pictures that there´re no sign of sexuality abuse.

Yep. People are afraid to take pics of their kids, teachers are afraid to give a crying child hurt on the playground a hug to comfort them, strangers are afraid to even smile at a child in a grocery cart ahead of them in line....it has gotten absolutely absurd.
 
Maybe going back to the 90s will make ourselves feel better.

I do love the old days... Well, not just photos for kids, but easily board the plane, go to Disney World without worrying about security, watch old television shows, and all that stuff...

It's very sad about WalMart accusing couple of anything related to sexual abuse even though there's no evidence of that kind of abuse... Excuse my bad assumption if you will, but I don't think most WalMart employees have children in the past -- nothing of memories to be had back on the eighties and nineties. It does take a lot of love and passion just to experience this through their lives with children. I'm trying my best to express my point of disregarding the policy, but please excuse my bad assumption if this is not true. It's just that I'm trying to think of my thoughts with a lot of passion and I'm very strong-hearted. It's kind of hard to think with all that passion that I'm sharing in this thread, though.

I will strongly, with my heart, disregard Wal-Mart's policy if I ever work there to process the photos for development (over to the printer) if I ever work at Wal-Mart. In this case, I will not work at Wal-Mart. I don't want to be treated as a sex offender and I DON'T want to put families with long-lasting memories at risk of getting caught by police. Neither I want police to arrest me!!! (I used three exclamation points to show that I'm standing up for myself as a citizen of The United States of American).
 
yea that's sad. Well thanks a lot to the pedophilia for making us that way due to overreacting to that situation.
 
Yeah, I hope speedy recovery goes out to families for relieving of nightmares (I used the plural word "families" to express future families that may get caught by the police/DCF officers).

I have a photo of me taking a bath with my daughter as a baby! And one of her nake in our back yard! I did have fence around the yard! I had wonder if is was safe to take nude photos of your kids today with all the sexal abuse happeing to kids today. I said something about to my daughter and she thought I was nut! Maybe I am not so not after all!
 
Wasn't Walmart in trouble for hiring illegal immigrants! Maybe they're uptight about getting busted for child abuse too! That is all Walmart need !, The store will not sell birth control pills in some states , this should had been a red flag to the parents!

No, I don't think they are worried about getting busted for sexual abuse. They turned the parents in for suspected child pornography.

I think Walmart could been in trouble , they may have to report this or Walmart could be suspected in child pornography , as they are the one making the photos ! Walmart was already in trouble with the law , they need to keep a clean record! Walmart would be the one developing the photos and they would be looking at them too , this could raises questions with the cops!

It's a Catch-22 situation.

Walmart could say nothing, but when the father is actually put on trial for child pornography... then others could ask if someone knew about it. This would put Walmart in the spotlight since Walmart knew about those pictures, but didn't say anything. So, Walmart gets in trouble.

Walmart could say something, but when the father isn't really guilty of child pornography... then Walmart would be in less trouble than they would if they actually reported it. That's probably how they feel about this issue.

When I worked at a local video rental store years ago, one of their policies was never to interfere with a robber's job. If a robber was running on his way out the door and I tripped him causing him to fall and drop his gun, and someone else tackled him... saving the day... then those of us who were involved with stopping the burglary could be fired for doing so. The reason for this is because the robber also can sue us for hurting him and the company gets in trouble.

Everyone's paranoid these days... better safe than sorry... as they always say. :dunno:
 
I worked at Office Max and it was X-mas time and people were bringing pictures in for calendars. Do you know how many bathtub naked babies, or little kids running around bare I put on calendars I made that year? I know the difference between abuse and parents doing what all parents do when they have little kids. Wasnt there a lifetime movie about something like this?

I'm not surprised that you did that.

I've had friends running around saying, "Look at my cute babies taking baths!" *showing me their pictures of their naked babies* :roll:
