Do you often use painkillers? I do.. I often have headaches so take a painkiller pill and get a long sleep. This time ,my aches got worse and I had to get more 'powerful' painkiller..what about you ?
and do painkillers harm our livers or kidneys ?
any advice or experience ?
Due to my migraine I am kind of pretty experienced with painkillers.
If you have healthy kidney and liver, and don't forget stomach, if you remember NOT TO exceed the daily limit you should be okay.
Also, it depends on the painkiller what kind of side effects to look for.
Tylenol or acetaminophen is mostly mild and as I've said if you have a healthy liver and do not exceed the doses it should be fine.
NSAIDs, like aspirin or ibuprophen are hard on the stomach and may cause bleeding, ulcers even if taken -excuse me- via butthole.
codeine and othet narcotic analgetics can cause dependency.
So it's best NOT to take over-the counter - painkillers by yourself, is best to go to your dr and chose the best painkiller for you. It's healthier for you body to take ONE or even two stronger, narcotic painkiller than 8 tylenols for the same pain.
btw if you have headaches often, maybe you have migraine. then it would best to prevent it from happening. for example by avoiding triggers. that would reduce the number of pills, too.
