I went to a reptile show yesterday and my girlfriend and I feel in love with these baby bearded dragons.
We spoke to the lady for about an hour about them. We ended up holding almost every dragon she had (about 20 of them), including the mothers and fathers of the babies which were about 2 feel long each.
They are soooo docile and the colors ranged from grey black to orange, tan and red. We were amazed and had to bring at least 2 home.
I picked out the most playful female and she picked out the brightest colored male. They are about 3 months old.
The female waves at you when you pass the tank...which I just read on a reptile forum..is a sign of aggression. But she lets you pick her up and does nothing but stares at you and if you rub the top of her head....she falls asleep.
We ended buying a bunch supplies and books on them as well. The reptile show was great. My gf went in scared as hell of all reptiles..but then didn't want to leave without one.
There were soooo many poeple at the show. We saw so many animals. Iguanas, chamelons, turtles, frogs, spiders, boa's, nile monitors, even a $5,000 white snake.
Anyways...here are some pics of the dragons.
