yes both of my grandparents and parents were in true love each other so much. Nowadays, there is very rare to seeing couple are in true love.
I was at the doctor office in the waiting room. Saw cute eldery couple held their hands and and arms. Many people do not realize, how lucky they are to survive much longer and happiness. Widows or Singles sometime feel lonesome and isolate due to cant find a true love relationship nowadays.
That is true, and it is a bummer when the old people have a hard time not finding someone to share and to live a longer and happy life. But again, there are still some single elders that don't mind the lonely life because they have been married before and they would rather have peace than to live with someone. Now that is another different story when it comes to Alzheimer's Disease and it is sad to have an elder who have this disease not recognize her love one. My mother had this Alzheimer's Disease (she was divorced for many years) and it was a lonely time for my mother to go through this painful journey into the unknown world that she does not understand. She does not recognized my sister and family, even me. We all felt for her and we cried. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story from your British friend. :tear:
