There's no truer saying than this. I had a black lab who was a retired seeing guide dog from a local training center (Southeastern Guide Dogs), since his passing two years ago, I still feel like a part of my heart is missing but his memories give me a reassuring feeling. RIP Heartsong!

How true. Brings tears to my eyes. Same for cats and other pets. For them, it's all they know in their short life spans. Our responsibility to make it as good as it can be for them. Still mourning my cat who died 6 weeks ago. Still miss her terribly.
