The Basenji - does - make noise...they chortle and whine and moan but don't have the typical "bark", true.

I've had a few in classes and we have a pair that come into the store regularly - an adult and a tri puppy. Very cute pup....watched him play with an adult Rottie girlie a few weeks back, of course I had to watch. She was very patient with the puppy.
