Will do that ASAP. Thanks all!

yeah, besides, wouldn't a full BTE be better than an RIC? I have that severe loss but moved on this year as U can see my signature!

We tried the safaris, but they didn't work for me. I have a flat hearing loss (straight across the board). The only option left that me and my family liked were the Naidia Q's RCI's.

I have the Phonak Naida UPs which have bigger batteries so they last longer.

Maybe your ears are not made out for RICs?!

I have the Q UP's and have a similar problem with the tube to the ear mold being too short. The audi cut that though. I'm returning them otherwise I would have a new mold made and a longer tube. Mine are not the RIC's.

With the Naida UPs tho, you can just take the tubing out of the earmold and re do it to be longer at very little cost or even free. With the RICs, it is more difficult to change it.

The cost is really a matter of under a hundred dollars, so I would think your audi made enough profit from the sale , she shouldn't quibble about making it comfortable for you to wear.

As for your parents, if they won't get you the longer receiver because it might cost them a little money, it's practically child abuse.

ik but there's a Naida BTE that mev426 and Bottiesini rocks (both blue)

If you really wanted to, you can still replace them yourself. There is a little pin where the wire connects to the aid that can be removed with a clothespin, and then the wire just comes right out like a plug. I'm sure you could find a longer one online somewhere

I am not able to take the hook off my HA , I do not have the rights tools.
My HA is child friendly so can't be taken apart.

My mother insists its the perfect length, and Audi agrees. My ears don't...so I'm just taping up my ears. :/

Does your mother and audi wear HA too ,if not they does not know what they're talking about. Could you go to the school nurse and show her your ear , maybe she can talk some common sense into your mother and audi.

They won't get it because they trust my Audi, not because of the money.
